Keep Trying. Never Settle. Be Adaptive.

Meaning we are consistently driven to grow and strive for better processes and new results. Working in support of complex systems such as networks, we must consistently innovate new practices or adopt new tools, strengths, and services.  The people in the networks we support seek positively disruptive and power changes to reconfigure alliances and resources to create change. Networks promise flexibility, fluidity, and adaptive reinvention to meet the needs of different challenges.  We must consistently embrace and seek the improvements demanded by the networks of people we serve. We are part of the culture of the networks we support.  We drive improvement in practices and approaches.  We must also model embracing change and being adaptive in the way demanded by innovation.  We strive to introduce and test new methods, adapting methods, ideas, approaches, or products. We find new ways to organize people and apply tools, processes, and products to our challenges.

Innovation produces results because networks are organic and fluid. They are not settled. These dynamic systems demand a set of skills and a skill to continue to adapt to change. Being innovative demands learning, listening, and experimenting which keeps the work changing and adapting to the demands and people’s needs in the network. 

We see it among each other internally in the ways people contribute and approach work with solution-oriented thinking.  We see it in the ways people are willing to take calculated risks. Being innovative requires adapting to changing dynamics and to be open to everyone’s ideas.  We see it in the ways we continually try to repurpose and improve available resources and build on existing foundations (don’t reinvent the wheel!). We can see it in the way we recognize and celebrate our successes, accept failures as part of our approach, and learn from all we do. 

You can see it in our work in…work to recognize what is new and seek new ways to approach what is old.  When faced with a problem, we are hopeful that we can find or develop ways to solve it and make sure to come to the table with possible solutions.  We own the responsibility to offer new solutions and thinking and be open to the same from others. We are positive and constructive.
